Along with their opinion, we estimated the time of the treatments:

  
• Acrylic nails – c. 1,5 hours,
  
• Gel nails – c. 1,5 hours,
  
• Nail forms for acrylic and gel nails – c. 2 hours,
  
• Fills – c.40-60 minutes,
  
• Enhancements – additional 30-50 minutes.

To an inexperienced manicurist, the artificial nails’ application may take up to 4 hours.

All the researchees have made a remark that the time of the application depends on many factors, including:

  
• the manicurist’s practice and skills,
  
• kind and brand of products used,
  
• customer’s demands (rich enhancements / normal french manicure),
  
• a nail’s condition before the treatment (breakage, air under the artificial nails).
